All Dielectric Self-Supporting ADSS Cable / Optical Fiber Cable ADSS
The adss cable are positioned into a loose tube made of high modulus plastics. Filled with a water-blocking filling compound, the tube is stranded around FRP as a non-metallic central strength member into compact and circular cable core. Then covered with thin PE (polyethylene) inner sheath and a layer of aramid yarn, the cable is completed with a PE outer sheath. ADSS cables are ideal for outside plant aerial applications, the lightweight cable and all-dielectric construction allow cost-effective and safe installation in high voltage overhead power lines.
Properties
1. Up to 144 optic fibers
2. Light weight, less additional load to tower. The maximum span can reach 1500m.
3. Strong anti-pull performance, more than 90KN.
4. Non metallic structure provides good insulation, excellent lightning resistant.
5. Equal distribution of aramid yarns with good production process, excellent stress/strain performance.
6. Excellent bullet resistant performance.
7. Excellent tracking resistant performance.
8. Installation without power off and the normal transmission of cable won't be influenced by power line fault.
Applicable Fields
1. Long distance telecom, LAN in high voltage area or access to telecom network;
2. For power transmission system, much thunder areas and high electro-magnetic inerference.
